Cheryl A. (Gorski) Ronzoni has been writing for more than 15 years. She has freelanced for the Springfield Regional Chamber/Affiliated Chambers of Commerce of Greater Springfield, Berkshire Hills Music Academy, Human Service Forum and Western Mass Women’s Magazine, among others. Cheryl has more than 120 articles published through Demand Studios.
With more than 16 years of experience in nonprofit management and communications, Cheryl served nearly seven years as the Executive and Program Director of the Cancer House of Hope (CHH) in Western Massachusetts. During her nonprofit career she has created countless brochures and flyers, PowerPoint presentations, event scripts, annual appeal letters, website content, Constant Constant email newsletters, press releases, social media pages and has written many grant appeals.
A native of Elizabeth, NJ, Cheryl has a B.A. in English from Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, PA and spent one year at Western New England School of Law in Springfield MA. After making the decision law school wasn’t for her, she remained in the Springfield area, raising her sons and developing her career in the nonprofit industry.
She is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of Baystate Health Foundation and a Board member for Springfield School Volunteers. She also sits on the Springfield Walk Committee for the Western MA Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Cheryl is in the inaugural class of winners of the Western Mass Magazine’s “Women in Business Awards” in 2010. Along with her freelance writing business, Cheryl continues to work part-time in nonprofit management in Western MA.
Cheryl resides in Westfield MA with her husband Guy, her sons and her “change of life babies,” Maltese dogs Brady & Sasha.
